Dr Areej George graduated with an MBChB from Iraq in 2001 and completed her GP training in the UK at The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in 2011. Through her hospital training, Areej gained experience in emergency management, obstetrics and gynaecology, respiratory medicine, ENT, and general surgery.
She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She also holds a Diploma in Family Planning.
Areej has a special interest in mental health, women’s health, and dermatology. She performs full-body skin and lesion examinations and can surgically manage most skin lesions and cysts. She also has an interest in therapeutic management of skin pigmentation and keloid scars.
Areej is fluent in Arabic and French.
